Ukulele Fret Dressing & Crowning With Nail Buffer – Trade Secret

Video Posted on Updated on

Here is a great way to crown, dress & polish ukulele frets & ukulele fret ends without the need for expensive ukulele crowning & dressing files or tools using a very low-cost ukulele fret dressing & crowning tool, a beautician’s nail buffer!

The flexible surfaces of the nail buffer allows the ukulele fret to push into the surface of the nail buffer, giving a domed shape to the finished ukulele frets & fret ends. The varying fine grit surfaces of the nail buffer can be used initially for crowning the frets, returning a smooth, even, domed surface to the ukulele fret after fret levelling & then the finer grit sides of the nail buffer can be used to further dress and crown the ukulele frets and fret ends and finally to polish the ukulele frets to a high shine finish.
